Successful Brokers come from diverse career backgrounds including accounting, law, finance, real estate, engineering, business administration, and sales and marketing. The preferred background is someone who has many years of experience managing his or her own small company. Another preferred background is an experienced business professional with management, marketing and financial experience working for large corporations.
As a Business Broker you will be involved with all facets of business sales transaction from inception to closing the sale.
Your main responsibilities are:
1. Developing and securing new “business for sale” listings through networking, direct marketing and calling on business owners.
2. Assisting in business evaluation and preparation of a Marketing Package for your listings
3. Qualifying, developing and coaching new business Buyers
4. Transaction management; working with sellers, buyers, accountants, attorneys, landlords and all related parties for smooth and successful completion of the transaction.
Your job will be to match buyers and sellers of companies ranging in sale price from $200,000 to $20 million. You will confer with attorneys and accountants to facilitate the sale. Requires motivated problem solvers. Create your own business and financial independence using our marketing, legal and sales support. You will operate as an independent contractor working from a home office, enjoying a great deal of personal and professional freedom.
